We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our development team. Our development team is experienced in several technical fields, including optics, electronics, acoustics, MEMS and nanotechnology, mechanics, software development, spectroscopy, and data science. The ideal candidate is motivated by the opportunity to improve our core technology and develop new products based on its unique capabilities. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Data analysis, modelling, and algorithm development for improving the calibration methods used in new and existing gas analyzer products 
• Development of spectroscopic models for new instruments and/or new set of gases
• Systematically evaluate improvements through A/B testing or other suitable methods
• Contribute to technology development and product improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum M. Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Cybernetics, Nano/MEMS or similar
• Experience in data analysis of sensor data
• Technical English 
• Python

Desirable experience/qualifications:

• Infrared absorption spectroscopy
• Regression analysis and statistical methods, machine learning 
• Version control tools such as Git or similar
• Advanced use of electronic communication tools
• Ability to communicate and achieve results in cross-functional sensor/MEMS and product development teams
