Well Control and Manifold (WCM) equipment is core to all subsea production systems. It ensures safe drilling into the well, the well fluids are contained and the flow rate controlled at all time, enabling safe distribution of the hydrocarbons into pipelines for transport to the production facility. In WCM we develop, qualify, engineer and deliver cost efficient configurable solutions. Our product portfolio consists of Workover-, Subsea Tree-, Manifold- and Interconnection Systems and tooling. You will be a Graduate Engineer for our office at Kongsberg belonging to our EMS Well Control and Manifold department. You will receive training and coaching by your Manager. You will receive on-the-job training and development through participation in our breakthrough projects. Job Scope:
You will belong to one of the EMS Well control and Manifold engineering groups where you will have your Manager and receive your training. Subsequently, you will be attached to a development project where you will take on responsibility for engineering of standard products or being assigned to a project for making project specific solution to our clients.
Our EMS Well control and Manifold engineering positions include exposure to all phases of the product lifecycle, from product development into supporting our products in the life of field. You will be assigned a Mentor and a Lead engineer to guide your progress.

EMS Well Control and Manifold Engineering may include, but is not limited to the following areas
Product Engineering:
Responsible for the engineering of relevant products, such as manifolds, foundation structures, connections systems and sub-sea tooling, risers and work-over equipment, according to project design specifications and engineering standards, including releasing of product documentation required for procurement and fabrication. Activities consist of:
Preparation of product definitions and establishing design input for detailed engineering phase.
Follow up internal or external structural analysis. Prepare and review project documentation.
Advise during fabrication and manufacturing of products and systems.
Provide input in technical meetings with Clients and Suppliers.
Give input to VORs and status reports
Design Engineering
Responsible for detailed design of relevant products, such as manifolds, foundation structures, connections systems and sub-sea tooling, risers and work-over equipment according to project specific design specifications and engineering standards.

Analysis
The analysis department is performing state of the art structural analysis and integrity services for Well Control equipment. This is critical to deliver optimal products and system, and support our clients with monitoring services and advanced online, digital solutions.
We are working as an integral part of product and system design, and have industry leading experts on structural analysis, riser analysis, fatigue & fracture mechanics.
