Markets Graduate Programme

In Markets Graduate Programme you will have the opportunity to learn and grow into a role in one of the three business divisions in DNB Markets;

  • Equity Sales and Research
  • Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities (FICC)
  • Investment Banking Division (M&A, ECM and DCM) (“IBD”)

In order to build the best possible understanding of the financial industry and Markets you will during the first 12 months rotate among our business divisions. During the rotations you will use and develop your skills by participating in the daily work in different teams where you will contribute as a regular team member. Working as a graduate is a unique opportunity to familiarise yourself with and build knowledge within different areas in Norway’s largest investment bank. At the end of the programme you will return to your home division where your career plan will be decided.

During the programme we will tailor a rotation program that gives you the chance to see more of Markets and DNB in general, and at the same time prepare you for the permanent position in your home division. You will receive coaching from a dedicated manager providing the support you need in order to start your career in Markets.

As a graduate in Markets you will be part of the DNB group graduate programme and get the opportunity to increase your network in DNB, expand your skills and socialise with other graduates. This includes an introduction week, knowledge sharing sessions, off-site activities, seminars and social events. You will have the support of a mentor outside your division with whom you can reflect on learnings, career ambitions and discuss challenges.

Examples of tasks during Markets’ Graduate Programme:

  • Analysis of  industries and companies
  • Preparation of valuations
  • Assistance on the execution of transactions
  • Drafting of models and presentations
  • Understanding clients’ hedging needs
  • Implementation and pricing of derivative transactions
