Our Corporate Graduate Programme is aimed at applicants with both technical and non-technical backgrounds who have recently graduated or will be able to graduate by the end of 2020 with a master’s or PhD degree. Graduates in Equinor will have a steep learning curve and are expected to develop an overall understanding of our activities and business challenges.

Job Description

Reservoir and Production Engineer graduates will join the Petroleum technology (Petec) network of approximately 1400 professionals spread across the company. Petec ensures that Equinor matures and manages its hydrocarbon resources in a profitable, competitive, safe and energy efficient manner.  
As an engineer in the Petec network you will be a part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to work within a variety of areas including reservoir- and production technology activities during exploration, early phase, field development, production phase, abandonment, and portfolio transactions. Petec resources are also involved in technology development and implementation. 

Qualifications

•  Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within Petroleum Technology (reservoir and production technology), Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Cybernetics and Automation, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics, other scientific line of university study. Additional education in areas such as technology, information technology, economics and management are also relevant.
•  No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience
•  Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
•  International work and/or study experience preferred
•  Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
