We are currently providing summer internships in our Cloud Database Server team in Trondheim. Major job duties of Database Kernel Engineer at Huawei Cloud Database Server team include

• Planning and implementation of new features of Huawei's database projects to increase competitiveness and build industry-leading solutions.
• Development of core features, based on customer demands and service scenarios.  
• Contributing to innovation and new technological solutions. 

Qualifications and Experience

• Programming skills, preferably C++
• 3rd year and 4th year student
• Good communication, documentation, presentation skills in written and spoken English.
• Experience working on large codebase projects will be a merit.
• Experience from contributing to open source projects is a plus

• The right candidate must be open-minded and eager to share: knowledge, ideas and experiences with colleagues.
