As a data engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

• Process datasets to predict seafood supply, demand and pricing globally.
• Develop models appropriate for the problem at hand using machine learning, statistical methods, optimisation methods and other techniques where this applies.
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality in our data.
• Use large data sets to address business issues.
• Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods.
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modelling.
• Automate model processing and manual procedures continuously.
• Find hidden patterns using data.

Profile & requirements

• Higher education within a relevant field of study (master’s degree or doctor’s degree). Relevant experience may compensate for missing formal degree.
• Able to contribute and cooperate with a multidiscipline and multinational team.
• A significant set of technical skills, including a deep knowledge of SQL database design and multiple programming languages.
• Analytical and structured
• Eager to continuously expand your expertise.
