Would you like to spend your summer working in a highly competent, challenging, and informal yet professional environment? Simula is now recruiting approximately 20 summer interns to work within the fields of ICT research together with motivated international researchers.
Simula is a publicly-owned ICT research lab. Our main objective is to reach new levels of understanding and to create vital knowledge about fundamental scientific challenges that are of genuine value to society.
The summer intern positions last for 6 weeks and take place during the period from mid-June to mid-August 2022.
Simula’s research activities are distributed across several different research units: Simula Research Laboratory (SRL; downtown Oslo), Simula Metropolitan Center for Digital Engineering (SimulaMet; Oslo), Simula UiB (Bergen) and Simula at BI (Oslo). We have approximately 20 summer internship positions available across Simula’s research departments; please see the list below for the location and host department of the internship positions.

Simula Research Laboratory is a research laboratory organized as a limited company owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. Simula’s mission is to solve important and fundamental problems of science and engineering, with the main goal of benefiting and advancing society. We conduct basic and long-term research in select research areas of ICT including scientific computing, communication systems, software engineering, cybersecurity, and machine learning. Simula currently employs approximately 190 individuals from 35 countries and strives to create inclusive working environments. English and Norwegian are the working languages at Simula.
