We are looking for a R&D Engineer to join our development team. Our development team is experienced in several technical fields, including optics, electronics, acoustics, MEMS and nanotechnology, mechanics, software development, spectroscopy, and data science. The ideal candidate is motivated by the opportunity to improve our core technology and develop new products based on its unique capabilities. 

We continuously work to improve the performance of our product. This includes everything from redesigning our core technology to improving our infrastructure for test, verification, and production. As a R&D Engineer, a typical day can hence be very diverse. It can include everything from programming, to setting up complex instrumentation, to hands-on assembly and modification of mechanical parts and set-ups.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and building new gas analyzer prototypes
• Simulation of key components and devices
• Testing and characterization of core components and devices
• Implementation and automation of calibration and characterization routines

Qualifications:

• Minimum M. Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Cybernetics, Nano/MEMS or similar
• Basic programming in Python, C/C++ or Matlab
• Technical English

Desirable experience/qualifications:

• Experience in acoustics, optics, or signal processing
• Hands on experience in lab
