Graduate 2024 – ​​Information Technology​

As a graduate at Equinor, you’ll be joining 21,000 colleagues delivering oil, gas, wind, and solar power to 170 million people worldwide. It’s one of the defining challenges of our time and attracting and developing the brightest minds will be critical to our success.  

The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas or locations.  

The position

IT plays a crucial role in accelerating the energy transition, enabling value creation, and ensuring secure and compliant operations. Together, we shape the digital enterprise, secure the present, and enable the future.  

In Information Technology & Digitalisation, you'll be tackling exciting and complex tasks, leveraging big data and cutting-edge technologies. We focus on building internal solutions that drive efficiency and enable digital transformation.  As part of our team, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, collaborating to shape the future of energy. 

When joining our team in Information Technology & Digitalization you will have the opportunity to work within:

  • Information Technology.  
  • Cloud computing.
  • Software development.  
  • Data analytics, data science and Artificial Intelligence (AI).  
  • Data engineering.
  • Enterprise data management and Data Architecture.
  • Automation, robotics, and remote control .
  • Geomatics, Geodesy, Geographic Information Science (GIS).

Tasks may include:

  • Solve challenging tasks using the latest technologies.
  • Work with big data to drive insights and innovation.
  • Build internal solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize new technology to enable digital transformation.
  • Continuously learn and develop as part of a large (and growing!) internal IT community.

You

  • Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within ​​STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects
  • Completed degree by the year of starting (2024). 
  • Fluent in English. 
  • No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience. 
  • Formal experience is not a requirement.
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.
