Over the course of several days, a select group of university students will meet Jane Street employees and learn how math and computer science have a real-world impact on the work we do. Participants will also gain a detailed look at the many different roles within our firm.
SEE has two different programme tracks students can apply for:
Trading & Research Programme:
Through short lectures, data-based activities, and mock trading sessions, students will explore mathematical and financial concepts, including probability, market structure, arbitrage, and machine learning applications.
Software Engineering Programme:
Students will learn about the concepts, tools, and skills that we use in our everyday work through talks and hands-on activities. Working together with full-time SWEs, they’ll build experience with programming fundamentals, software design principles, and development practices that are used throughout the industry.
