COMPANY DESCRIPTION

• Deepinsight is a start-up company with the ambition to build a leading data science institution
• We are currently 8 people and strive to create a company where nerds can be happy
• We apply machine learning to real world problems in partnerships with large Norwegian companies

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Work on a specific data science or data engineering problem. We find out what together. The task will be challenging and based on your interests and knowledge.
• Collaborate with one of our data scientists to give you guidance and discuss you work
• Write code
• Probably teach us something new

QUALIFICATIONS

• Nice to people around you
• Eager to learn
• Enjoy quantitative tasks and study for a technical degree (at minimum 3rd year)
• Coding skills
• Interest in machine learning and data science
• Experience building something with code (really anything!)

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

After the internship you will:

• Be better at coding
• Have experience with data science on real world problems
• Have exposure to common tools in the data science/software engineering toolbox (e.g., google cloud and git)
• Have a reference point for what else to learn to become a valuable data scientist or software engineer
• Learn how a small tech start-up works
